Let’s Meet: Dominika
Dominika is the art director of Studio Deloryan. She ensures the art is of the highest quality, anything released to our game Horse Reality is quality checked by her first.
What is your job at Studio Deloryan?
I'm responsible for planning ahead anything art related, managing and distributing tasks and coordinating with other teams whenever art is involved. I also create artworks for the game and support the art team in their work.
Why did you want to work here?
If you are an equine artist and a job on a horse-themed game is being offered to you, it's really hard to refuse or have any second thoughts, at least that was the case for me.
But the reason at first a freelance job turned into something more was because of the amazing atmosphere at the company, the freedom to experiment (and make mistakes in the process), and the fantastic, supportive people I get to work with almost every day.

What is your favourite thing about working here?
Never ending challenges! There is always a new mountain to climb.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Whenever I can I do my best to keep creating. It can be challenging, already having a creative job, so I focus on taking a small steps and finding inspiration in simple things.
To clear my mind and find some rest from all of the painting, drawing and horses I spend time taking care of my indoor jungle. There is a very simple joy of watching a new, perfect leaf unfurl on your favourite plant. For many years I also used to ride and work with horses. And though I don't do it that much anymore, they will remain as some of favourite memories of mine. And who knows, maybe at some point I'll return to it again!
