International Women’s Day - Joining the Equals Role Models Campaign 2024
This month, March 2024, you can see our CEO & founder, Deloryan Hommers, on some bus stops in Utrecht! The Gemeente Utrecht reached out and asked if Deloryan wanted to join the Equals Role Models Campaign of 2024.
“It takes a role model to become one. This year, at Equals, we want to demonstrate the potential within every woman to achieve anything, individually and collectively. Your age, color, sexuality, or neuro divergencies do not define you; it’s who you are and your story that matter, and with this campaign we, Equals, want to celebrate how anybody, you included, can become a role model to other women.”
We at Studio Deloryan take pride in being one of the few game studios in the Netherlands, with a majority of our team members being women 💪
Deloryan joined the campaign this year to encourage other women to take a leap and follow their dreams 💼 ✨ We want to show you that it IS possible to follow your dreams. She had no background in game development and yet founded this game studio and released the horse management game Horse Reality.
We want to show you that you can do this too! It will take some hard work (and likely some blood, sweat and tears). There will be failures along the way and plenty of learning curves. But IT IS definitely possible, and we hope you realise that. We cannot wait to see more women join the tech and/or games industry! ❤️
